Learning Season is a quarterly report and learning series designed to slow things down.

Where monthly signals notice what’s emerging, Learning Season creates space to examine why it matters, how it connects, and what it asks of us next. Each quarter focuses on a small number of themes drawn from real-world patterns across work, education, and sport.

Learning Season is about depth, not speed.

Purpose

Most learning happens reactively... after an issue, an incident, or a crisis.

Learning Season exists to:

  • Move from awareness to understanding

  • Create continuity instead of one-off learning

  • Support leaders and practitioners in making sense of complexity

Learning does not occur in isolation – it is shaped by systems, culture, power, and interaction. This issue examines the conditions that make learning possible (or impossible) across workplaces and educational settings, including learning maturity, psychological safety, relational trust, and institutional expectations.
